Some online trees call her Dorothy. Documentation contemporary to her life calls her Mercy or Mary.

Mercy Ball was born c. 1654 in New Haven, New Haven Colony.^[1] She was the daughter of the first New Haven Allen Ball and his wife Dorothy _____.^[2]

"Mercy wife of George Pardee dyed ye 13th of Auguft 1684," recorded in New Haven.^[3] Also recorded in East Haven^[4]
