It is only speculative that she was the daughter of John and Anne (____) Bancroft. It has not been proven. The connection is based on the fact that a "Widow Bancroft" transferred land in Long Island to John Stratton and Thomas Talmage, and researchers have deduced that this mean they were sons-in-law. But the connection has not yet been confirmed.
She married before 1645 probably in Southampton, Long Island John Stratton

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sarah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sarah:
please see the G2G regarding proposed disconnection of Sarah’s husband John Stratton from his assumed father William Stratton of Eastcheap London and Tenterden in Kent.
The data field shows that Sarah was born 19 Mar 1619 in Belchford, Lincolnshire, England. Is there a source for that data? Her possible parents are believed to have been from Derbyshire. Other than the estimated birth dates of her children, are there any other indicators of her date or place of birth?

There was a recent change that Sarah is buried at South End Cemetery, East Hampton, Suffolk, NY, referencing a Find A Grave Memorial. However, there is no record of her burial there. I contacted the Long Island Collection at the East Hampton Library for their assistance to confirm this. I also travelled to East Hampton, New York and spent a day in the South End Cemetery.
The Find A Grave Memorial claims "Gravesite Details Husband: John Stretton Parents: John Bancroft & Jane Bohython." This was particularly disappointing since I was hoping to find concrete evidence to link her to her husband and parents. Since her burial location is unknown, there are no gravesite details.
I went on a tour of the cemetery with a local historian who told me that grave markers at that time were typically made out of wood and would have deteriorated a long time ago. Any stones in the cemetery were shipped in. I don't recall the date of the oldest gravestone in the cemetery, but it's likely that few or none date back to that time.
It's likely that Sarah is buried in the South End Cemetery since she lived in East Hampton and it's closer to where she lived than the North End Cemetery. But again, there is no record of her burial there.
I'm new to this, so I hope I commented on this appropriately.
