Fourth Sergeant Jonas Bancroft, born 26 October 1744 in Worcester, Massachusetts, died January 1821 in Auburn, Massachusetts, and his wife Sarah Blood, born 18 March 1745, are honored for service by the Daughters of the American Revolution: 1) LEX ALARM CAPT. JOHN CROWL 2) COL. LEARNED. Their son Nathan Bancroft married Mary Rowland[4]
