Clark Cooley Sr. was probably the son of Daniel Cooley. (Daniel Cooley died 21 December 1782 in 71st year, ancestor of all the families of the name in East Granville.) Clark Cooley, Sr., died 18 February 1813 in 75th year; married 22 November 1764 ----Sabra Bancroft---- who died 21 February in her 67th year.
Their son, Clark Cooley Jr., born 7 June 1769, married 28 April 1790, Candace Holcomb. They moved from Granville, Massachusetts to Hartford Twp., Licking County, Ohio, in 1813. Their daughter Candace Cooley married Leonard Parr; Their daughter Sabra Cooley (Grandaughter of Clark Cooley Sr and Sabra Bancroft) married William Parr.
