Disputed Origins
This profile was created as a son of John and Ann Bancroft. In John's will he named his eldest son John, and referred to his six other children, but their names are not known. Amos Bancroft was supposedly born about 1624 in England. There is no documentation that he was the son of John and Anne (____) Bancroft, or that he existed at all.[1]
