Lucy Moore[1] was born on 26 June 1771 in Culpeper County, Virginia, the only known child of Bernard and Catherine Price Moore.
On 5 June 1786, when she was in her mid-teens, she married Reuben Gaines, Reuben Gaines.[2] She bore him twelve children, five sons and seven daughters:

  3. Lucy Gaines
  4. Henry Gaines
  5. Reuben Gaines
  6. Ann Gaines
  7. John Gaines
  8. Elizabeth Gaines
  9. Marinda Gaines
  10. Mary Gaines
  11. Edwin Gaines
  12. Ellen Gaines
On 8 October 1837, when she was sixty-six, she died in Locust Hill, Culpeper County.[3]
Alternate date of death 8 October 1839
She and her husband are buried in the Gaines Cemetery or Locust Hill Cemetery in Locust Hill.[4]

Hello, please see that there are two husbands on this profile. I would have proposed a merge of those two but they have different parents. Can you please take a look at them and determine which should be removed as spouse to Lucy? Perhaps you have proof of parents and can propose the merge of the two Reubens? Moore-26309 and Barbour-461 appear to represent the same person because: THeis is the same person. You are the program Manager for both You should be able too fix the profile so they can be merged.
