Augustin Jenbarde was born on February 2, 1757 in St-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-Sud, Montmagny, Québec, Canada Colony, Neuvelle-France. He was the second of seven children of Joseph-Marie Bard and Marie-Judith Dubé.[1][2]
He was baptized at St-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud on February 2, 1757.[3]
He married Marie-Modeste Lévesque on January 10, 1780 at Notre-Dame-de-Liesse, Rivière-Ouelle, Kamouraska, Province of Québec, British North America.[1][2][4]
