Biography
Augustin Jenbarde was born on February 2, 1757 in St-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-Sud, Montmagny, Québec, Canada Colony, Neuvelle-France. He was the second of seven children of Joseph-Marie Bard and Marie-Judith Dubé.[1][2] He was baptized at St-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud on February 2, 1757.[3]
He married Marie-Modeste Lévesque on January 10, 1780 at Notre-Dame-de-Liesse, Rivière-Ouelle, Kamouraska, Province of Québec, British North America.[1][2][4]
They had the following children:
- Paul Bard b. 1781
- Marie Genevieve Bard b. 1782
- Basile Bard b. 1785
- Marie Constance Bard b. 1790
- Fabien Bard b. 1793
- Remi Bard b. 1796
- Marie Anne Bard b. 1799
- Adelaide Bard b. 1805
He died on September 3, 1816 in Rivière-Ouelle, Kamouraska County, Quebec, Bas Canada, British North America.
He was buried on September 5, 1816 in Rivière-Ouelle.[5][6]
