DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Arent by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.

We have 2 profiles
1. Albert Barends Gildenhhuyzen of Gildenhausen v Burgstein in Westfale on the Princess Royale Wife Margaretha Hoefnagels , Burger 1661
Albertus Gildenhuizen van Leijden who came to COGH before 1690 with his wife and 5 children might not be the same persone .
Gildenhuijsen-9 and Barentsz-5 are not ready to be merged because: Parent (father) profiles need merging first. Perhaps we might have to revisit the current protected LNAB ....
Gildenhuijsen-9 and Barentsz-5 appear to represent the same person because: Same data. His LNAB = Barnetsz (his father came from Gildenhuijsen). This name stuck later.
Gildenhuijsen-9 and Barentsz-5 are not ready to be merged because: Alta There are a difference of 20 years between DOB on these two profiles. The siblings DOB also differ I normaly take the time so investicate difference that are only a few years appart, but 20 years would make me believe this could not be the same person. Regards Ronel
