She is the daughter of Levi Barger and Sophia Doyle. [1]

Obituary
Audrey Madden, age 88, of Hamilton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 31, 2007 at Wellington Manor. She was born in Clay Co., Kentucky on February 20, 1919 the daughter of Levi and Sophia (Doyle) Barger. A homemaker she was a longtime member of Hamilton Christian Center. On December 31, 1946 in London, Kentucky she married Gabe Madden who preceded her in death on May 29, 2002.

She is survived by two sons, Bruce (Kathy) Madden and Kenny (Kim) Madden both of Hamilton; three daughters, Burnice (Floyd) Moore and Brenda Madden both Hamilton and Glenna (John) York of Fairfield; 8 grandchildren, Jeremy Madden, Amy Madden, Keri Madden, John Andrew York, Katy Madden, Sandy (Richard) Simpson, Jim Moore, and Melissa (Darren) Spurlock; three great-grandchildren, Logan, Rebecca, and Ericka; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Wayne Madden; two brothers, Elmer Barger and Frank Barger; two sisters, Ann Spurlock and Julia Davidson; and a granddaughter, Teresa Moore.

Funeral service will be held at Hamilton Christian Center, 1940 Millville Ave. on Monday Nov. 5th 11:00 AM with Rev. Bruce Hensley and Rev. T. E. Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at Brown-Dawson 1350 Millville Ave., on Sunday from 3 to 6 PM. The Madden family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Wellington Manor, Vitas Hospice and Dr. Sargero for their care and concern.

Patricia Barger Audrey Madden was my aunt andI loved her dearly,she like my parents was a true saint of God She served her Lord with her whole being I will miss hearing her pray ,she would pray when we went to visit and it was the most precious time of my life with her .
