Biography
Carl Clemens was born 26 Jul 1897 in Eierland, Texel, The Netherlands and is a son of Gerardus Cornelis Barhorst and Hendrikje Spigt.
He worked as a farmhand.
He married 17 Jun 1921 in Texel Hederica Halsema and they got 4 childern.
In 1970 they moved to the "Gollard Stchting", an eldershome in Den Burg Texel.
Until a few years before his death Carl Clemens collected milk samples at farmers in the neighbourhood. Each morning he made this trip on bicycle.
Carl Clemens died 23 Nov 1990 in Den Burg, Texel. He donated his body to science.
