Elizabeth Barker, was born in Rhode Island about 1645/6, the daughter of James and Barbara (Dungan) Barker. [1][2][3][2]
She married Nicholas Easton on November 30, 1666. Nicholas was born at Newport, Rhode Island on November 12, 1644, son of the immigrant Peter Easton and his wife Anne Coggleshell. [1][4][2][3]
Elizabeth died on July 5, 1676. [1][5][3] She is buried with Nicholas in the Clifton Burial Ground at Newport. Her inscription reads: HERE LYETH THE BODY OF ELIZABETH EASTON THE WIFE OF NICHOLAS EASTON WHO DECEASED THE 5 DAY OF THE 7 MONTH 1676[6]
Nicholas died on February 1, 1676/7. [1][5][3] In his will he made bequests to the benefit of the Quakers. [2]
