Biography
Hanover County Marriage Records show her name as "Adeliah" and her age as 20. Her birthdate is given as April 1856 in the 1900 Census.
Family 299, Henry District 28, pg. 17b, 1910 U. S. Census of Hanover County.
In a Will probated 2/20/1895 and recorded in Hanover Will Book 6, pg. 245, Delia inherited 36 acres of land as part of the estate of her aunt Harriett A. Jenkins. She and her husband, as well as several others are in a private cemetery on this land.
Interment: Private Cemetery, Black Creek, Hanover County, Virginia[1]
