Biography

Diana Barker was born and brought up [1] at Gaskyns, Rudgwick, a large house that later became a school. She was one of eight children. She married a naval officer Cedric de Lacy Bacon (known as "Streaky") who died of tuberculosis in the 1930s. They had two daughters. She later married Lennox Boswell, and had three sons and one daughter (who died of leukemia aged 2). Diana lived to just short of her 100th birthday. [2]
