Biography

Elizabeth was born in about 1609 in Bristol, England. She was the daughter of John Barker and Elizabeth (Spicer) Barker and was baptised at St Werburgh, Bristol on 8 may 1609. The parish register recorded her as the daughter of Mr John Barker, merchant. ^[1]

Will: "1669 Dec 3 Elizabeth Goninge of Bristol, widow., To be buried in St. Walburgh with my husband. My son Robert Goninge Exor. My 2nd son John Goninge. My daughter Dame Elizabeth Langton £300. My daughter Johan Stroude £300 and her three children. My daughter Mary Goninge £300. My son in law Sir Thomas Langton, an Overseer., Proved. 23 Dec 1669 by her son Robert Goning."^[2]

Elizabeth died at the age of about 59 in December 1669 and was buried at St Werburgh's in Bristol on the 16th.^[3]
