Greetings!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi Dorothy! Thank you for sending me a message. I just clicked each link provided in my posting below to check them for functionality and found them to be in working order. If clicking on them does not work for you I suggest that it is an issue with your browser settings of some sort.

Doesn't matter much though.... you can reach each of them by using the options provided at the top of this page. Using the green tabs across the center and the drop-down lists from the top right you can get anywhere on WikiTree you need to go, find anyone, and get help from numerous people.

Try the drop-down lists by hovering the cursor over the selections such as "add", "find", and "help", then select the option that fits.

Please let me know if this helped.

Hello Dorothy,

How are you doing? Hope you're enjoying our site.

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide.

Also Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course, I'm here to help in any way I’m able. Just ask!
