Biography

Joanna Barker ... She passed away after 1719. [1]

Probably died in Essex Co., Virginia Colony after 1719 as this was the year her 4th husband died.

Note: George Loyd first shows in 1690 as a witness. He begins to buy and sell land about 1699. He and Joana get a license to keep an Ordinary (?) in 1703 and keep running it. After his death Joanna continue the business. Just where this was is not on the application. He continues to buy and sell and dies in 1713 with a lot of debts and a lot of money owed to him. He does leave a will.
