Mabel was born in Q3 1900 and was christened on October 18th 1900.
She married George Morphet in Q2 of 1926.
She died on 8 February 1965. at her home Henly House, Union Square, Kirkby Stephen, Westmorland.
Letters of Administration with will (limited) on 21 December 1965 to Jim Kirkbride - farmer. £1933.

Sad to relate i understand that George Morphet murdered his wife Mabel , by hitting her over the head with a rolling pin, when taking her a cup of tea on 8 February 1965.
I am told that one of the first police officers on the scene - was my uncle PC Tyson.
At the subsequent Trial George Morphet was found unfit to plead. He spent his remaining years in Garlands (hospital) Carlisle
