Biography
"Although many family trees list Mary's maiden name as Baker, there is a marriage record on ancestry.com in the New Hampshire Marriage and Divorce Records from 1659-1947 that indicates Zebina Woodworth married Mary Barker on 9/13/1808 in Dorechester, New Hampshire. The handwriting on the original image is very clear." [1]
Clan MacBean of North America, Volume II, Fifth Edition, Revised, 1993, by Joseph S. Bean, page 540 also gives the mother of Adaline Hannah Woodworth as Mary (Barker) Woodworth. If that is not evidence enough, Three of the children of Adaline and Archibald are have the middle name of Barker, which is Adaline's mother's maiden name.
Children of Mary and Zebina Woodworth are:
Levi Benjamin Woodworth, born February 29, 1816, in Ashtabula County, Ohio, died September 25, 1883, in Wayne County, Illinois, married Hannah (?nee) (1816-1872)
Adaline Hannah Woodworth, born November 26, 1819, in Dorchester, New Hampshire, died May 21, 1870, in Fairfield, Illinois, married Archibald Bean (1815 - 1875)
Dr. Zebina Woodworth, born May 21, 1823, in Williamsfield, Ashtabula County, Ohio, died May 21, 1875, in Wayne County, Illinois, married Lovina Johnson (1818 -1905)
Sarah Woodworth, born March 13, 1826, in Cherry Valley, Ashtabula County, Ohio, died July 29, 1901, in Amesville, Athens County, Ohio, married Gilbert McMaster McDougall
