Ada was born on a midsummer day in1873, on August 8th. She was the daughter of Stephen and Ruth Clark Draper Barlow. She passed away in 1941.

Ada married Christian Fitzgerald Heim February 21, 1892 in Dawson, Nebraska. They would have two children by this union who reached maturity. Their daughter, Margaret Ruth, married Neal Hammer and they gave Ada 6 grandchildren. Their son, Alan, farmed and died at age 23.

Ada passed away, after living all her life in Nebraska, at age 67, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She rests at Heim Cemetery, Dawson, Nebraska.
