John de Barlow from the manor of Withington in county Lancaster had a son Nicholas Barlow.[1]
John de Barlow died before 1466, because in that year on 3 December, John's son Nicholas conveyed to his son Alexander, lands etc in Withington and elsewhere in Lancashire which "Lately appertained" to his father John.[1]
