Biography

Tristram Barnard, son of Thomas and Sarah (Peasley) Barnard, was born Amesbury say 1678. He married Ruth Martin before 1707, and died in 1759. His will, dated 20 Feb 1759 and proved 07 May 1759, devised his homestead to his son Tristram. Ruth survived him.[1]

Tristram's grandmother, Elinor Little, wife of George Little of Newbury, widow of Thomas Barnard of Amesbury, gave to Thomas Barnard her eldest son her share of a lot of meadow on condition that he give it to his son "Trustrum Barnard" (the subject of this profile) when he reached age 21. Dated 3 July 1686.[2]
