Biography
Ruth Barnes was born about 1800 in Ann Arundel, Maryland. She married Wesley Driver in 1817,[1] and they relocated to Ohio between 1832-1836. In 1850, the family was in Vermillion Township, Erie County, Ohio, with the household consisting of Wesley (56, Maryland), Ruth (50, Maryland), James (27, Maryland), Sarah A (18, Maryland), John W (14, Ohio), and Willson (11, Ohio). Wesley was farming and valued his real estate at $3,000.[2]
Ruth passed away in 1859 and is buried at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Erie County, Ohio.[3]
