"John Barnes Sr., 8 Sep 1715, age 78 years" (b. abt 1637) Comment: No issue, but names the children of Thomas Barnes as beneficiary in his will including John Barnes Jr. otherwise known as Dea. John Barnes.
"Dea. John Barns (Barnes) d. 5 Apr 1752, age 86 years" (b. abt 1664/6 Comment: son of Thomas Barnes, also known as John Barnes Jr. in the town records although he was the son of Thomas Barnes (b. 1636, England).
"John Barnes d. 3 Jul 1794" (Comment: he was born 1716, and was the son of Dea. John Barnes)6
