Biography

Ebenezer is the son of Mabee Barnes and Elizabeth Stow.

He married Mehitable Miller, daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Johnson) Miller, on 28 Dec 1728 at Middletown, Middlesex, Massachusetts. They were the parents of[1]:

  1. Isaac Barnes (born 1728)
  2. Ebenezer Barnes (1729 - 1798)
  3. Amos Barnes (born 1732)
  4. Rhoda Barnes (born 1734)
  5. Elijah Barnes (born 1736)
  6. Mehitable Barnes (born 1739)
  7. Captain Benjamin Barnes (1741 - 1834)
  8. Phineas Barnes (1744 - 1832)
  9. Elihu Barnes (born 1746)
  10. Rebecca Barnes (born 1748)
  11. Private Jeremiah Barnes (1751 - 1845

Ebenezer died in 1783 at age 85-86 and is buried in Old Farm Hill Cemetery.[2]
