Biography
Judy Barnes died young.
The Bristol, England, Church of England Baptisms register has that Judy Barnes was born on 25 July 1904 and baptised on 15 September 1904 for Edward Henry and Eva Mary Barnes, with her father a Farmer at Kemerton. The baptism took place at Fishponds, St Mary in Gloucestershire.
Sadly, she only had a short life not reaching the age of 2, as she passed away in the January quarter of 1906, and was buried on 12 March 1906, aged 1 year and 7 months, in Kemerton, Gloucestershire, England.
Their next born child Eveleen Mary Barnes would also die prematurely at the age of 2 years and 11 months. It is thought that both deaths were caused by a blood germ transmitted from their mother, who had picked it up on a sea voyage back from the Canary Islands or Madeira, when she had to share a cabin with an unrelated person [information from a family letter].
