Wife of James Franklin Cannon and daughter of Sluman Barnes and Abigail Chase Barnes.
Phila was a methodist. Education: Ravenna Schools, She could read and write and was interested in current events.
She liked to read, and kept up with all current news. She reared her family well. She liked to cook big meals and did so for the early Rail Road builders. She owned a cottage at Brady Lake near the park, in later years. She liked to dance, especially square dancing and folk dancing.
