Biography

Sarah Barnes was born about 1761, probably in North Carolina.

She married Peter Parker about 1785 in North Carolina. [1] and had the following known children, listed in Peter's Last Will[2]:

  1. Mildred Parker, married Theophilus Permenter
  2. Elizabeth Parker, married Andrew Phillips
  3. Thomas Parker
  4. Esther Parker, married Solomon Hart
  5. Richard Parker
  6. Wiley Parker
  7. Elisha Parker
  8. Bethany Parker, married Michael Harmon
  9. Benjamin Parker

Her husband, Peter died 16 July 1836 and she was listed as a beneficiary in his Last Will.[2]

Susan died a few months later on 13 November 1836 and was buried at Parker Cemetery, Webster County, Kentucky.[3]
