Biography

Daniel was born about 1818, and was baptised in St Mary's Parish Church, Kingsclere on 7 Jun 1813. Daniel was the child of William Barnes and Sarah Bridgeman. He married Diana Goodchild, daughter of Richard Goodchild, on 30 Nov 1839 in Kingsclere, Hampshire, England. He married Betsy Beer, daughter of John Beer, on 29 Oct 1849 in Kingsclere, Hampshire, England.

• the only death record for a Daniel Barnes in Kingsclere In 1859 on GRO is for a 6 year old boy, clearly not this Daniel Barnes.
