DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Lizzie by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Lizzie:

Hi Carolyn,

I'm trying to tease out the details of this profile's life. The profile was originally for Lizzie, the child of Toonie Slaughter Barnes Sr. (1870-1946) and wife who died at one day old. Then it was changed to show the same birth and death data as Toonie's sister, Elizabeth Albertine (Barnes-7443) McAdams (1881-1965).

Did Toonie and Lou Ella have a baby that died early? If so, this profile should be reset to her data with a citation for how you learned of the baby. Direct oral history may be the only citation but that's acceptable in a case where it won't affect someone's lineage. See an example in this profile for an infant of my great-grandmother: Early J Driggers (1912-1913).

If Toonie and Lou Ella did not have a baby that died early, they should be disconnected from this profile and it merged with that of Barnes-7443.

Please let me know which way this should go.
