Biography

Constant was born in 1730. Son of Daniel Barney I and Alice Freelove Wheaton. Married by Elder Richard Round, Jr. Note that his gravestone indicates an age of 90 years, but other records agree on birthdate of April 23, 1731. He is buried in Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont, U.S.A.

According to the Vital Records of Rehoboth, page 529, Constantine was born on 4/23/1731. Also, his children and that of Hannah are listed on page 530.

According to the Vital Records of Rehoboth, page 20, Constant Barney married Hannah Carpenter, both of Rehoboth, 11/29/1753.

According to Descendants of James Wesley Brundage of Pleasant Valley, NY, Compiled by Helen Brundage Fisher (1978), Daniel Barney, Sr. (I) was born in 1697, and his parents were Joseph and Constance Davis Barney. Daniel Barney Sr. married Alice Freelove Wheaton, who was the daughter of Ephriam. Daniel Sr. had 9 children:

He passed away in 1819.
