Elizabeth Bernhardt or Barnhart was born about 1755 in the USA, daughter of Benger Bernhardt and Anna Maria. She married Wilhelm Eichler about 1770 in New Jersey. They had five children. They moved fron new jersey to Greenwood, Columbia, Pennsylvania. She died about 1815. Buried on the family homestead in Greenwood, PA.
Elizabeth appears at the baptism of her daughter Anna Maria, at the Zion Lutheran Church. Oldwick, New Jersey, in 1771.[1]
