There being no documentation of the maiden name of Joan wife of George Edge, she has been detached as daughter of Henry Barrow of Dorset. This connection should not be reestablished absent a primary source for Joan's maiden name and explanation for Dorset vs Cheshire.

A George Edge of Barrow who d 22 3m 1676, may have been another child or the father of the two children. John Edge, F.P, of 125 acres listed in Pennsylvania Archives [1st series] I, 44, may gave been the son of George of Barrow; he hardly seems to have been the John Edge of St Andrews, Holborn, Middlesex, who was deceased by 1707, leaving a window Frances, as per Digested Registers of the Quarterly Meeting of of London and Middlesex. ^[2]
