VanDeMark, MRS. ADELE B., age 83, of Dallas, Texas passed away on June 4, 2004, in Dallas. She was born on March 22, 1921, in Rochester, New York to Arthur P. and Abbie (Dawson) Bartholomew. She attended the University of Michigan. She married Robert VanDeMark on October 17, 1942, in Covington, Kentucky. Mrs. VanDeMark was a homemaker and was a member of the Bethel Christian Reformed Church.

She is survived by her son, John Lewis VanDeMark of Idaho; grandchildren, Brian VanDeMark, Heather Wolf, and Chad VanDeMark; great granddaughter, Noah Wolf-Hughes; sister, Doris Weick of Rochester, New York; brother, Arthur P. (Bart) Bartholomew, II of Florida; niece, Lynn Dwyer; caregivers, Steve and Cheryl Huber; family friend, Ralph Knupp; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives. Also mourning her loss are her other caregivers, Joyce Young, Erma Gaston, and Loretha Davis. Mrs. VanDeMark was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Janet Bartholomew.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Ralph Knupp officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Saturday prior to service at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
