Biography

Lyle Vern Bartholomew was born November 13, 1904 in Dodge Co., Minnesota. He was the son of Frederick Bartholomew and Etheline Walker.

The family lived in Dodge county until at least 1916. By 1920 they were in Brule twp, Douglas, Wisconsin.

He and Eldora Rutledge had a son in 1928 in Douglas County.

On June 5, 1928 Lyle married Nancy Malinda Linton at Duluth, St. Louis, Minnesota. Nancy was the daughter of Linda J. Clark Linton Rutledge. Lyle and Nancy had six children together.

In 1935 Lyle and Nancy and family can be found in Sundance, Crook, Wyoming, USA and in 1940 they were in Koochiching county, Minnesota. In 1947 the left Holler in Koochiching, Minnesota and settled in Kasson, Dodge, Minnesota. They remained in Dodge co. for most of the remainder of their lives.

On June 24, 1983 Lyle Vern Bartholomew passed away at Maple Manor in Rochester, Olmsted, Minnesota. Lyle was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery, Mantorville, Dodge, Minnesota
