Henry, born in 1863, was the son of Abraham Bartlett and Elizabeth Wilmot.[1] Like his brothers, Henry was a mariner. In 1893 and 1894 he was part of the Peary expeditions to the Arctic. On a return voyage to Newfoundland from Philadephia, his ship, the Falcon, was carrying a heavy load of coal. It is thought that they encountered a bad storm off the coast of the colony and sank between the 9th and 11th of October, 1894.[2]
