DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
Bartlett-3146 and Bartlett-2036 appear to represent the same person because: the birthdate on Bartlett-3146 is incorrect and belongs to a different person. Otherwise same death date.
I have approved a merge with Bartlett-2036, but the alternate facts in 2036 that don't agree with those in 2115 come from ancestry family trees which are not valid sources. Alternate facts can be added in the bio with sources if the profile mgr of 2036 wants to add them, but the profile dates should stay as they are unless and until we have well sourced alternatives.
Bartlett-2115 and Bartlett-2036 appear to represent the same person because: Same approx birth year, same place, same parents, same spouse (Morey). Different death years, but no sources shown on -2036. Sources present on -2115, which is PPP. Profile will have to be unlocked by Leader to merge. Please merge to 2036, retaining info from -2115
Obviously some merging-out-of-order has taken place on this profile. Change history has been lost from the profile history. I kept records of my merges for a while. About 10 were merged together in an expedited merge, probably May, 2012.
Bartlett-2115 and Bartlett-4360 appear to represent the same person because: Hannah Morey is a daughter of Mary Bartlett Morey and Jonathan Morey. Hannah married John Bumpas. This marriage and the brides parentage are under person 3.2 in the Bumpas genealogy, 2nd generation down from Eduoard Bompasse, a passenger on the Fortune.
