Was this the Oliver Bartlet or a relative, who lived in Granville, Washington, NY, in the 1790 US Census? That one had a family of 5 in 1790, 3 males and 2 females.
In the same town is a Henry Bartlet with 3 in his family, 1 male, 2 females.
I saw them while looking at censuses to try to look up my ancestors. I go back to Charles Bartlett 1774 - 1836, who had a son Henry in 1809 in Vermont, according to the 1850 census of Paris, Oneida, NY. Henry's mom was from RI, so maybe Charles was too, but I will keep on looking... I like how this profile is done with the sources so easy to follow... happy ancestoring!
