He married Margaret Barnes on 12 Apr 1753 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Children: Mary, Melatiah, Phebe, Elizabeth, George, Joseph, Zacheus, Isaac. He died on 6 Mar 1800 in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Zacheus Bartlett of Plymouth, gentleman died intestate and on 7 April 1800, Joseph Bartlett, George Bartlett Jr., and Melatiah Barlett, all of Plymouth were granted the administration of his estate.^[2]

His inventory was recorded on 21 June 1800.^[3]
