Samuel was born on 15 Jan 1744 at Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut to Jonathan and Hannah Bartlett.[1] He married Anna Crane. [2] They settled at East Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. Among their six children are:
Samuel Bartlet died 29 Nov 1825, in Connecticut, United States, and was buried in the Scantic Cemetery. [5]

she was born 12 Mch., 1747; d. 17 Mch., 1831; he was quite a mathematician and something of an inventor, rec'g patents for drain tile and a screen for screening rye.
During the Revol. he transported beef from Boston to the American encampments on the Hudson River at Albany.
