Theron H. Bartlett, age 91, of Russellville, died Saturday, January 1, 2005, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. A son of the late Wesley Dealon and Allie Rachel Almand Bartlett, he was born July 30, 1914, in Appleton, Arkansas. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and First United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the P. K. Merrill Sunday School class. Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Margaret Bartlett; a son, David H. Bartlett of Plano, Texas; a sister, Doyle E. Parnell of Searcy; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral will be 10 A.M., Thursday, January 6, 2005, at the Shinn Chapel by Rev. Mackey Yokem and Rev. Matthew Johnson. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Shinn Funeral Service.

Active pallbearers will be Cheslyn, Eric, Gary, Michael and James Bartlett and Charles Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Young, "Whitey" Robertson and Bobby Bartlett.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from 6 to 7 P.M., at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 301 South Denver Avenue, Russellville, Arkansas 72801.
