From the published "The Bartlett Family of Newbury Mass." from "The Essex Antiquarian", Salem, Mass. 1903, Vol. VII, No. I. [1]:
Capt. Israel Bartlett 5 , born in Newbury April 30, 1712. He was a tanner, and lived in Newbury, except from 1738 to 1746, when he resided in Nottingham, N. H., being called "esquire." He married Love Hall May 7, 1738; and died May-, 1754, aged forty- two. He had a pew in Queen Ann's chapel, and a negro man and girl. His wife survived him, and married, secondly, Joshua Lunt before 1758, being alive in 1761.

211— I. Joseph Hall 6, b. March 7, 1739, in Nottingham, N. H. See below (211).
212 — II. Sarah 6, b. Nov. 25, 1741, in Nottingham; m., first. Col. Windbom Adams, who was killed at battle of Saratoga; and, second, Col. Hobart of Exeter, N. H. ; lived in Durham, N. H., in 1764; and d. in Exeter about 1823. She had no issue.
213 — III. Thomas 6, b. Oct. 22, 1745, in Nottingham ; m. Sarah, dau. of Gen. Joseph Cilley, Aug. 19, 1773; lived in Nottingham; was lieutenantcolonel under General Stark at the surrender of Burgoyne, and in command of a regiment at West Point at the time of Arnold's betrayal ; member of the New Hampshire state legislature, being speaker of the house; and judge of the court of common pleas. He had twelve children ; and d. June 30, 1805, aged fifty-nine. She d. Dec. 7, 1833, aged seventy-six.
