Biography
Thompson was born in about 1871 in Hulme, Lancashire, England. He was the son of James Lee Bartley and Mary Ann Emilly (Brotherton) Bartley.[1]
On 3 April 1881 Thompson (age about 10) was living in Gorton, Lancashire, England.[1]
