"Mrs. Sarah Stansbury, who would have been 86 years of age on September 8, and mother of Mrs. George Warren, 352 York street, died at six o'clock Tuesday evening at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Hahn, near Emmitsburg, from a heart attack.

"Mrs. Stansbury had been in unusually good health for a woman of her advanced years and assisted with household work until last Friday when she was stricken. Her condition did not become serious until Tuesday.

"She was born in Carroll county but resided most of her life on the farm on which she expired. Her husband preceded her in death in 1929 and Mrs. Stansbury continued to reside there with her son-in-law and daughter.

"In addition to Mrs. Warren she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hahn with whom she resided, and Mrs. Ersie Clem, of Rocky Ridge, Maryland; three brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Henning, Stephens City, Virginia; Mrs. Emma Tracey and John T. Barton, of Blue Ridge Summit; William H. Barton, Missouri, and S.I. Barton, of Rochelle, Illinois.

"Eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.

"Funeral services Friday afternoon at the home at one o'clock with further services in Tom's Creek Methodist church, near Emmitsburg, with burial in Keysville, Maryland."

"The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Jane Stansbury, who died on Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maurice Hahn, near Motters, was held on Friday with services at the Tom's Creek M.E. church at 1:30 p.m. Interment was in the Keysville cemetery. Rev. Samuel Pritinger had charge of the services. The pallbearers were Robert Grimes, Maurice Moser, George Devilbiss, Emory Valentine, Edward Smith, and John Grushon. M.L. Creager and Son funeral directors."
