Bates-7657 and Bates-1598 appear to represent the same person because: Birth place same, his mother died in 1723 so his birth date of 1744 in Bates-7657 cannot be correct, parents same, siblings same. Death place to be resolved.

Please check the birth date for Samuel. His mother was born in 1786 and his father in 1787 and would have almost 60 when he was born!
