His will is dated 20 October 1713 and proved on 16 December 1713 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife Lydia, and his children, Samuel, David, Lydia Bates, Anne Saunderson, and Judah Gibbs. His inventory was taken on 10 November 1713.[3]
