Biography

On 22 May 1921 she is shown as being born at: 31 Burnley Road, Bacup, Lancashire. Father is "Arthur William Bateson" and Mother is "Mary Elizabeth Bateson Formerly Betts. Fathers Profession is shown as "Cotton Machine Twister". In the 1921 Census she is shown at the same address and is 1 month old.

On 22nd November 1947 at: Bamford Chapel, Heywood, Lancashire, she marries Ernest Cyril Morland. On the marriage certificate, her "condition" is "Spinster" and rank or profession is "Cotton Operative Reeler". She is shown as living at: 11 Mine Street, Heywood and Father is Arthur William Bateson who is shown as also a "Cotton Operative". The witnesses were: Constance Louise (Connie) Morland and Eric Whittle.

At the end of October 2020 she fell at home and after a successful operation to replace her hip she was recovering at Rochdale infirmary where she contracted Covid-19 and sadly passed away on the 18th Nov 2020.
