Biography
Mary Ann Batterbury was born in Breccles, Suffolk.
She married in 1902 to a Tailor, William George Parr son of Elizabeth Sheppard and James William Parr.
They settled in Sussex and had 5 children born during their marriage.
Mary Ann was widowed when William became a casualty of the Great War in 1918. She never remarried.
Mary Ann died in 1948 aged 72 at Breccles, Suffolk. Probate of her Will was granted on December 29 1948.
