Tracy Baxter was born on 20 Dec. 1835 at New York, USA.^[1][2] His father, Aaron Baxter, appeared on the census of 1840 at Hancock, Delaware Co., New York, USA.^[3]

He appeared on the census of 26 Aug. 1850 in the household of his parents, Aaron Baxter and Julia Aner (King) Baxter at Hancock, Delaware Co., New York.^[4] He was a farmer when he appeared in the home of his parents on the census of 11 June 1855 at Hancock, Delaware County, New York.^[5]

He married Sarah Parks about 1859.^[2]

He and Sarah appeared on the census of 2 Aug. 1860 in the household of Aaron Baxter at Hancock, Delaware Co., New York.^[6] He and Sarah Parks appeared on the census of 7 Aug. 1870 at Hancock, Delaware Co., New York.^[7] He was a farmer when he Sarah appeared on the census of 1 June 1875 at Hancock, Delaware County, New York.^[8] He was a farmer when he and Sarah Parks appeared on the census of 11 June 1880 at Hancock, Delaware Co., New York.^[9] He was farmer when he and Sarah Parks appeared on the census of 28 June 1900 at Hancock, Delaware Co., New York.^[2]
