Adeline Baxter was born in May 1834 at Delaware Co., New York, USA.[1] She appeared on the census of 29 Aug. 1850 in the household of her parents, William Baxter and Rachel Paul, at Farmington Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[2]
She married Henry S. Mourey, son of Peter Mourey and Betsey (Saunders) Mourey, on 22 November 1852 at Farmington Township, the service was by Rev. B. Haynes.[3]
She and Henry appeared on the census of 30 Aug. 1860 at Farmington Township.[4] She and Henry appeared on the census of 9 Aug. 1870 at Farmington Township.[5] She and Henry appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 at Nelson, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[6] She and Henry appeared on the census of 12 June 1900 at Nelson.[1]
Adeline died on 24 January 1917 at Nelson, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania, at age 82[7] and was buried at Mourey Cemetery, Farmington Township.[8]

Nelson, Jan 29. - Mrs. Henry Mourie died at her home in Nelson Wednesday, Jan. 24, of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Mourie fell sick six months ago and broke her hip and owing to her advanced age the fracture could not be set. She has been an invalid ever since. Everything that loving care and kind friends could do to make her last days as comfortable as possible was done. Mr. Mourie is nearly 90 years old. Mrs. Mourie was 82 years and 8 months old.[7]
