Edgar T. Baxter, son of Moses John Tyler Baxter and Phoebe (Rose) Baxer, was born in July 1836 at New York, USA.[1][2] His father died in 1838 and he appeared on the census of 30 Aug. 1850 in the household of his mother at Sheshequin Township, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania.[3] He was a farm hand when he appeared on the census of 28 July 1860 in the household of his mother at Rome, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania.[4]
He married Martha Kinner[2], daughter of Solomon Kinner and Sally (--?--) Kinner, circa 1865.[1]
He and Martha appeared on the census of 27 July 1870 at Rome, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania.[5] He was a farmer when he and Martha appeared on the census of 24 June 1880 at Rome, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania.[6] He and Martha appeared on the census of 22 June 1900 at Litchfield, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania.[1] He was a farmer in 1910 when he appeared on the census of 22 April 1910 at Litchfield Twp., Bradford Co., Pennsylvania.[7]
Edgar died on 23 Aug. 1910[2] at Bradford County, Pennsylvania, at age 74 and was buried at Towner Hill Cemetery, Rome, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. His memorial has a photo of his headstone shared with Martha.[8]
